How to apply for a Bachelor’s

Where to study?

You can apply for most of the Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English in a joint application to higher education. In the joint application, you apply to all your study programme choices with one application form.

Note that Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English are mainly provided by UAS. There are a few Bachelor’s level studies conducted in English in universities.

 

When to apply?

9 to 24 January 2018

Most Bachelor and Master programmes at the Universities of Applied Sciences and at the universities conducted in Finnish or Swedish

You can apply up to six (6) study programmes and you can choose study programmes from both application periods. Please note that the same study programmes are not offered on both application times.

 

Who can apply?

Master’s level studies

Master’s level studies are provided by both universities and universities of applied sciences (UAS). In Studying you can find most of the degree programmes offered in English. Check the exact dates and instructions in the programme descriptions. The application period for programmes starting in the academic year 2018–2019 begins at the earliest in November 2017.

 

How to apply for university of applied sciences (UAS)

You can apply for UAS Master’s level degree programmes provided in English in the joint application and separate applications. When applying in separate applications, you need to fill a separate application form for each programme.

After you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email. This email includes a link that you can use to make certain changes to your application. Please note that this link is personal!  Giving it to someone else means they can make changes to your application.

 

Who can apply?

In order to be eligible to apply for a UAS Master’s level degree programme, you must have completed a Bachelor’s level degree or other higher education degree and have a minimum of three years of work experience after the completion of the Bachelor’s degree.

In certain fields, that are Hands and Craft, Communications and Fine Arts, Theatre, and Dance and Music, the work experience can be replaced with artistic activities and merits.

You can apply for universities’ Master’s level degree programmes provided in English in a joint application and separate applications. When applying in separate applications, you need to fill a separate application form for each programme.

In order to be eligible to apply for a Master’s level degree programme in a university, you must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a university or a UAS Bachelor’s degree.
